For the seventh consecutive year, West Bay's championship golf course, designed by Pete & P.B. Dye has been named an Audubon Signature Sanctuary Course for its conservation, planning and outreach programs in the environmental realm. With conservation being the cornerstone of the developmental idea of this community, West Bay is situated on over 800 acres of wetlands, woodland and nature preserves with over half of the total land designated for preservation. Full equity golf membership is available to the private club and the array of amenities are pleasurably overwhelming. A handful include a river park with a fishing pier and several gathering venues.
